Carpets or also known as Rugs are a way for floor covering using textile material, the material can be made from wool or manmade fiber that is often has gone through heat treatment process to maintain the structure. Carpets or rugs can be made from whole natural or synthetic fibers or even a combination from both. The fibers are chosen for several reasons such as durability, the appearance, the ease to be manufactured, and not to mention the cost.

In the old days, there are no cheap rugs, since the rugs were made manually and only use the highest natural material. The most famous rugs or carpets are the Persian and Armenian. Armenian rug or carpet usually use dragons and eagles as the common themes and patterns, the Armenian rugs were rich in color and motifs and also diverse in style.  Rugs are common used to decorate a room, using area rugs is considered as the fastest way to change the mood and also character of a room. Not only will the area rug brighten the room’s atmosphere, the rugs can also help to lower the noise level since the rugs can absorb the noise made in a room with hardwood, tile or hard surface made from other materials.

There are lots of variations of rugs available in the market, from the Oriental rug to Persian, contemporary or traditional, and many others. Not to mention the sizing, from small to large sizes, and also shapes. The variations will also determine the price for a rug, such as is the rug made by machine or hand made, using synthetic fibers or natural fibers, and also the size is it small size (4×6, 6×9, or 9×11) or large size (10×13 and 13×16). A hand made rug will automatically be more expensive than machine made due to the complexity and the time consuming to create a hand made rug, so does using natural fibers will be more expensive than synthetic, and larger rugs will also be more expensive.

The 7 steps to Healthy Living is not a magic formula, it is common sense. There is no magic mathematical formula in the 7 steps to Healthy Living.

Step One: go to your doctor and get a physical. If your doctor does not do it, ask for a complete blood work. This will check your cholesterol, thyroid levels, nutrition levels, blood count, basically the works.

Step Two: change the way you eat. The 3 hour diet (not a fad diet) will explain in detail. With this diet make sure you are eating a well balanced diet. Eat a variety of foods. A balanced diet is one that includes all the food groups. Explained in the new USDA food guide pyramid.

Step Three: exercise, there are many activities you can do to get plenty of exercise. You do not have to do the same thing every day, exercise can get boring, especially if you do the same thing over and over again. If you are short of time visit this post about “To Busy To Exercise?” If you have 30 minutes to an hour a day then start an exercise routine.

Adults should accumulate 30 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity on most days of the week, and to improve cardiovascular endurance, 20 to 60 minutes on three to five days per week.

Step Four: Most people find this hard to start. You should also add working out (strength training)to your weekly routines. You can do this by machine weight, also called free weight stations, or weighted dumbbells and bars with plates. Just because you “lift weights” does not mean you will get buffed or huge. You can lift weights to tone and add definition, or get ripped.

Step Five: get plenty of rest and sleep. At least 8 hours a night. Some Dr’s say between 6 to 8, but if you get 8 then you will notice the difference. This lets you rest your body as well as you mind.

Step Six: This is the most important of all… Believe in yourself. If you think you cant then you will not. Self esteem, self motivation, self assurance, Be the Change you Want to See in the World not sure of author.

Step Seven: This is almost important as Step Six, when in doubt ask, get help, get advice. If you are not sure of something then get help. The only stupid question is the one not asked.
