Important Information / FAQs

When Is the Registration Deadline?

Registration deadline is June 16, 2017.  There will be no extensions as this is the cutoff for security clearance to enter the DMZ.

Can My Friend Go To the Event?

Yes!  If your friend has a non-Korean passport, they are welcome to attend with you.  If they are under 20, their participation is free.  If they're over 20 (and don't want to volunteer at the event) we ask that they pay a small fee of $10 or ₩10,000, due upon getting on the bus. (We will accept both US and Korean currency.)

For Korean nationals, please contact Kyoung Lee (in Korean) via email at peace@iseehope.org.

Where Are We Supposed to Meet?

We will meet at the Sejong Cultural Center across from the US Embassy.  Just look for the chartered buses!

Will You Provide Meals?

While we are providing lunch, we suggest bringing water and snacks for the ride up to Imjingak and back.

I Registered But I Don't Know If I'm On the List!

We will try to process all registrations within 2 days of submission.  If you have not heard back from us within two days, please email us at peace@iseehope.org and we will look into it for you.

Can I Register the Day of the Event?

Unfortunately, no.  Everyone participating must pass DMZ security clearance, which is why we have a firm deadline of June 16th.  If you have not registered by that time or heard from us  specifically confirming your registration, you will not be able to participate.

I Don't Want To Give You My Passport / Resident ID Number, Can I Still Participate?

No.  All questions on the registration form, except those regarding vehicle make / model and where you learned about this event, are required for security clearance.

If you would prefer to fax your information to us, you may fax it to 1-601-767-7890.
